Here is what data this site collects, why, and what happens to it.
Data controller
Armand NJAPOU, reachable at contact@codingwitharmand.com.
Data collected
Through the contact form: your name, your email address, your company name (optional), the reason for your request and your message. Your IP address is used to limit abusive sending: it stays in the server's memory for at most 10 minutes and is never stored.
Purpose
Replying to your request and, where relevant, discussing a collaboration with you. This data is never used for marketing, sold or passed on.
Legal basis
The legitimate interest in replying to requests received (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, for a collaboration request, pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b)).
Retention
Messages are kept for 12 months after the last exchange, then deleted.
Recipients
Only Armand NJAPOU reads your messages. Two providers act as processors: the site's host, whose server is located in France, and Resend, Inc., which delivers the email sent by the form. Resend is based in the United States; this transfer outside the European Union is covered by its data processing agreement.
Audience measurement
To see which pages get read, this site uses Umami, an audience measurement tool hosted on its own server in France. Umami sets no cookie and does not store your IP address: it counts page views, the page you came from, your country, language, browser, operating system and device type, as aggregated statistics. Nothing is shared with third parties or combined with data from other sites, and nothing is measured if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. This relies on the legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Statistics are kept for 25 months, then deleted. You can also turn it off in this browser:
Cookies and local storage
This site uses no cookies, advertising or audience measurement, apart from a single technical one: NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers your language for one year. It also stores your theme choice (light, dark or system) in your browser's local storage and, if you turn it off, your refusal of audience measurement. None of this requires your consent.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your data, restrict its processing or receive it in a portable format, and object to its processing, by writing to contact@codingwitharmand.com. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (opens in a new tab), the French data protection authority.
